Huawei P30 Pro Named EISA Best Smartphone 2019/20
The European Image and Sound Association (EISA), a group comprising 55 of the world’s most respected consumer electronics magazines — has named Huawei P30 Pro smartphone as the best smartphone of 2019/20.
The previous holder of this award was Samsung’s Samsung’s; Galaxy S8 and S8+.
The EISA called out the Huawei P30 Pro’s low-light photographic capabilities as being “by far the best you can currently get from a smartphone.” The company also praised the ultra-wide lens, portrait mode and the periscopic 5x telephoto lens saying that it “surpasses any of its competitors.”
They as well stated that with its raw format recording and up to 512GB storage, the phablet is the perfect companion for dedicated photographers.
Huawei P30 Pro was the only mobile device listed among the best in the photography category along with companies such as; Canon, Sony, Nikon, among others. This shows how much the phone stands out when it comes to photography and videography.

The award will be formally presented to Huawei during IFA at the EISA Awards Ceremony on September 6th in Berlin, to coincide with the opening of the IFA consumer electronics show.
The Chinese-based smartphone maker launched the Huawei P30 Pro this year in March along with its much smaller companion; Huawei P30 in Paris, France.
The Huawei P30 Pro has a 6.47-Inch OLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The device runs on Android Pie paired with
HiSilicon Kirin 980, Octa-core processor backed on a non-removable Li-Po 4200mAh battery.
In terms of storage, it comes in 128GB/6GB RAM, 128GB/8GB RAM, 256GB/8GB RAM, and 512GB/8GB RAM.
The Quad camera has; 40MP+8MP+20MP sensors and the 4th is the TOF 3D camera. The front camera has a sensor of 30MP and is capable of shooting videos in 1080p at 30fps. The rear camera can shoot videos in 2160p at 30fps, 1080p at 60fps, 1080p at 30fps (gyro-EIS), and 720p at 960fps.
