OLX To Rebrand As Jiji
Global online marketplace, OLX with operations in over 45+ countries will effective June 20th, 2019 rebrand as Jiji. This according to a report received by PC Tech Magazine.
According to the report, nothing much will change other than just the rebrand. The rest i.e. the usual online shopping will remain the same. Notably, for Uganda, once the user types in olx.co.ug the current URL, they will automatically be redirected to jiji.com.ug.
The report further says, all customer account details and your active advertisements will be transferred to Walie Holdings Ltd as of June 14th, 2019 piror before the rebranding.
Walie Holdings Ltd is the mother company owning Jiji.
In a statement reads, “Walie Holdings Ltd. owns Jiji website, which will power a new website and experience where you can continue to buy and sell.”
