Facebook-owned popular instant messenger WhatsApp after mutliple rumors finally rolloed out its standalone business app; WhatsApp Business app early this year in January. However, at the time of the launch, the app was only available to Android users and there was no news of its iOS version. But, now it seems that the company might soon launch the iOS version of the app.
WABetaInfo, a Twitter account that tracks changes in WhatsApp’s beta builds has reported that WhatsApp is working on the iOS version of its Business app that might be launched very soon. The account further reports that the app is in its developmental phase and presently doesn’t have many business features such as Labels and Quick Replies – which are seen in the Android version.
This comes after WhatsApp Director; Mubarik Imam announced at the annual F8 conference that the social platform would witness some major features including stickers and group video calling – where she went on to say that the iOS users might as well get the business app.[related-posts]
On the other hand, Venture Beat reported that Facebook CEO and Co-Founder; Mark Zuckerberg during the company’s Q1 2018 earnings call said its business app for Android had over three (3) million active users, .
