MegaBot USA, the company that raised $1.8m through a Kickstarter campaign to fund its giant robot vision has a new visison. The company has called out Japan's Kuratas Mecha to a giant humanoid robot duel. Kuratas Mecha is the world's only other giant robot maker. Mebabots wants to create the first giant humanoid robot tournament. Kogoro Kurata, the founder of Kuratas Mecha accepted the challenge in a video this week, and the battle is to commence some time next year. Each robot suit will be piloted by a team and both are laden with guns that can shoot paint-filled cannonballs. Via BBC
