Jumia Offers 70% Discount Off Tech Products in New Campaign

Jumia Uganda launched a new campaign, ‘Tech Week’ where the eCommerce platform is offering 70% discount off all technology products sold on its platform. The on-going campaign is scheduled to end March 27th, 2020 — calling on all tech enthusiast to use this opportunity to buy products such as; smartphones, smartwatches, laptops, smart tvs, storage devices, among others at a cheap price.

Mobile phones are one of the most bought tech products off jumia. This is because they tend to have good deals and discounts on them. While this was mostly limited to mobile phones, Jumia Uganda CEO; Mr. Ron Kawamara, said their customers “asked for deals beyond mobile phones. And in return they decided to widened their tech product assortment.”

“We continue to witness uptake in tech categories like computing and appliances on our platform. It’s these reasons that led us to create a more inclusive tech centered campaign this year,” said Kawamara.

Mr. Kawamara adds that the campaign caters for everyone. Whether you are a gamer, a student who, phone enthusiast, or a sports junkie who wants that large screen TV.

During the Jumia Tech Week, Jumia will continue to offer its delivery services across the country and express delivery in Kampala. Customers will also be able to purchase insurance for their tech products with Liberty insurance partnership. This insurance will cover device protection from theft, accidental damage and more.

Jumia customers can shop for these tech products via the jumia website (jumia.ug) or the jumia mobile application. The mobile application is available for download on Google Play and App Store.

PC Tech Magazine recommends customers take advantage of the computing section because the prices are fairly favorable. For instance, the Transend 1GB external drive, Dell insprion laptop, HP Pro, Smartwatches, among others.
