Stanbic Uganda Appoints Emma Mugisha As Head of Corporate & Investment Banking

Stanbic bank Uganda has on Friday appointed Emma Mugisha as the new Stanbic Bank Uganda Head of Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) replacing Edwin Mucai who has been in the position for 3 years. Emma will have to oversee the bank’s CIB clientele including government, large corporate, and financial institutions.

In addition, she will as well be responsible for the bank’s value added investment banking and cash management products while aligning their strategies with a modified customer-based model in meeting their investment and risk coverage needs.

Promoting her to the Head of CIB role, Emma served in the capacity of Head of Transactional products and services for 5 years with the bank.

With over 20 years of experience in the banking sector, the bank says it’s confident that Emma will be in position to handle her new task.
