Rwanda’s Ministry of ICT and Innovation and the Rwanda Convention Bureau (RCB) have confirmed their partnership with the Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) for its 9th annual conference, exhibition, and awards which will be held at the Kigali Convention Centre, in Rwanda from 9-10 November 2023.
Ms. Paula Ingabire, the Rwandan Minister of ICT and Innovation said, “As a country that understands the critical role of women in national development and transformation, Rwanda is delighted to host the 9th Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) Conference and Awards, in November.” Adding “We will be particularly interested in discussing practical solutions to accelerate Africa’s inclusive digital transformation and contribute to closing the gender gap.”
Ms. Janet Karemera, the CEO of Rwanda Convention Bureau commenting on the partnership said the Rwandan Government is looking forward to delivering a successful event and offering AWIEF guests a memorable experience in Rwanda.
AWIEF Founder and CEO, Irene Ochem expressed her gratitude toward the Rwandan Government noting that they are honored and delighted to partner with the Rwandan ICT Ministry and RCB in what they believe will be their most dynamic and engaging conference yet.
