The launch of one of the most anticipated smartphones, the iPhone 7 on Wednesday has got everyone talking. However, Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto made a surprise appearance at Apple conference to announce Super Mario Run, an iOS runner with graphics from New Super Mario Bros.
NDTV news also reported that moments from the event came when Apple’s CEO; Tim Cook announced how everybody’s beloved character Mario is finally making his way to the App Store.
Shigero, at the event said that Nintendo will be releasing Super Mario Run on App Store in time for holiday season. The game is based on the classic game Super Mario Bros. but allows you to play the game with one hand due to its perpetual running style.
Although Shigero only announced the game for iOS, according to a report by Kotaku, Nintendo also intends to release the game on Android at some point in the future. In an interview with IGN, Shigero said that the game will be available to Android users come next year.
Super Mario Run is now available on App Store at no cost, but isn’t available for download as yet. App Store has what appears Notify button which will notify users when the app is available in their region.[related-posts]
