Microsoft’s Windows 95 which sold 7 million copies during its first five weeks is now 20 years old.
Microsoft Windows 95 was first launched on August 24, 1995.
The launch included a $250 million publicity campaign and the help of Jay Leno, The Rolling Stone’s “Start Me Up” and a cyber-sitcom starring Jennifer Anniston and Matthew Perry.

However, Windows 95 was a game changer in the PC world and introduced us to the iconic Start button.
