Sara Nana Yeboah receives 2015 Africa Reconnects award

Sara Nana Yeboah, the CEO of The Sangy Group, co-founder and vice president of The Sangy Foundation have been nominated among other revered Africans across the continent to share their stories and receive awards in the Africa Reconnect 2015, an international conference to held in South Africa this May.

The purpose of the annual conference organised by 2Glowing Sunset is to showcase women who have attained prominence in Africa in various areas of endeavour and are impacting the future by sharing information on new business trends and economic opportunities in and around the African continent will feature Sara Nana Yeboah as the youngest guest speaker among University Professors, Politicians and etc. to share her experience on ‘Invaluable Benefits of Mentorship: Providing Role Models for the African Woman.

This year’s conference brought together prominent women from South Africa, Cameroon, Kenya, Lesotho, Zambia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Botswana.

In Ghana, Sara Nana Yeboah, a Nurse and Social Entrepreneur devotes her life to lead a team of volunteers on a mission to raise the hopes of young people and work towards creating opportunities for them.

Having renovated schools, ran health campaigns and screenings, painted dilapidated hospital buildings and libraries, registering children onto the National Insurance Scheme across the country, Sara has shown her strength and commitment in doing what other abled men and women have not been able to engage themselves in.

These little works have earned the multiple awards winning Social Entrepreneur, declared by the Africa Youth Awards as the African Female Personality of the year another award dubbed Africa’s Hope in Leading Change.

Past recipients of this same honour include Thabo Mbeki, Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Nontando Mahlati Kunene, Edwin Batshu etc.
