The Information and Communications Technology Association of Uganda (ICTAU) and the Ministry of ICT & National Guidance have once again positioned themselves at the forefront to host the 2nd annual National ICT Summit, Uganda’s foremost platform for national dialogue, innovation exchange, and policy-to-action alignment on digital transformation.
Building on the momentum of the inaugural summit, this year’s edition, which will be held from 17th – 18th July 2025 at the National ICT Innovation Hub in Nakawa, will focus on translating national strategies into scalable, inclusive, and future-proof digital solutions.
The summit which will be held under the theme “Harnessing Digital Innovation for Sustainable Economic Growth,” will spotlight the country’s readiness to leverage Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), AI, 5G, fintech, cybersecurity, and data ecosystems to create economic value, improve public service delivery, and future-proof national systems and institutions. These technologies will be practically explored across four priority sectors: AgriTech, HealthTech, EduTech, and BPO/Digital Economy Enablement (including SME automation and digital trade).
The National ICT Summit will gather policymakers, innovators, investors, and thought leaders to shape Uganda’s digital future.
