Tecno Mobile is reportedly said to launch the Tecno Spark 8P smartphone before the end of this week. According to rumors, the company has silently announced that the phone will come with a 6.8-inch display and a 50MP triple rear camera system —these will be looked at as the highlight of the phone.
When launched the phone will succeed the Spark 8, hence, being the newest member in the Tecno Spark series.
Unfortunately, the Tecno Spark 8P’s pricing is still unknown, however, according to some critics, the Spart 8P might be priced between USD$200 to USD$300 (roughly between UGX600,000 to UGX800,000) and it will come in four color variants; Turquoise Cyan, Iris Purple, Atlanta Blue, and Cocoa Gold.
The Tecno Spark 8P is rumored to come with a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with a Full-HD+ and a screen resolution of 1080×2408 pexels. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and sports a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone has a punch-hole panel with an 8MP selfie camera. The smartphone has a triple camera system and the main sensor is a 50MP AI camera.
Under the hood, the Tecno Spark 8P is powered by the MediaTek Helio G70 SoC with 4GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone has dual-nano-SIM support with 4G connectivity. packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging support. It runs on Android 11 out of the box.
In related news, Tecno recently launched the TECNO Camon 18 series and it comes with a 6.8-inch punch-hole display. The duo packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for fast charging technology. The Camon 18 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC and the Camon 18P is powered by the Helio G96 chipset.
