The itel S32 Finally Launched in Uganda, First to Ever Come With a Fingerprint Sensor

Few days after Tecno Mobile Uganda launched its newest flagship in the Phantom series, Itel Mobile Uganda has also finally unveiled its advanced dubbed; dual- selfie camera Itel S32 in the itel S-series – and successor to the itel S31.

According to the Observer daily paper, at the company’s 10th anniversary celebrations in Uganda recently, country manager Alex Liu said Itel Mobile’s launch in Africa was inspired by a mission to empower everyone with seamless mobile communication through reliable and trendy mobile devices.

“In a time that has been highlighted by harsh political and economic conditions, Itel has achieved one decade of change and steady growth, and sold a landmark of 100 million devices and 1.2 million units per month on smartphones sale in Africa,” Liu said.

With most of the emphasis on the camera, the flagship has an 86-degree wide-angle and normal angle lens, as they continue to compete with some of its competitors in the same category such as the Tecno mobiles, Infinix mobile, to mention a few in the Ugandan market.

Quoting the Observer, Liu said the itel S32 is the first-ever device in the local smartphone market that has a premium and powerful dual – selfie camera made for low lighting – which in this case can’t be guaranteed since the latest Phantom 8 does the same with its 20MP front camera.

On the other hand about the specifications, the 5.5 Inch display flagship comes with a 1.3 GHz Quad Core Cortex A53 processor, Android 7.0, Nougat mobile operating system, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage which is expandable by up to 32GB with a microSD card, 8MP autofocus, F/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash rear camera, and dual 8MP + 2MP soft LED flash front camera. The second camera has up to 120 degree wide-angle lens and normal angle lens.

For superb photography experience, each lens has unique features for the end user and group selfies. The lens can blur the background in case you do not need other people in the photo.

The itel S32 also comes with a fingerprint sensor located at the back just below the rear camera. In terms of connectivity, the dual sim-card phone packs a bluetooth version v4.0, WiFi, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, GPS, and microUSB version v2.0. And all is back on a non-removable 3,000mAh battery.
