TECNO Mobile Officially Launches the ‘Phantom 8’ Handset – Claimed to Feature High-Speed Experience
TECNO mobile has officially launched its newest addition to the Phantom series; the Phantom 8 in Middle East and Africa (MEA) region during the unveil event that was held in Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai and has been reportedly said to feature a revolutionary camera, attractive design and high-speed experience.
The Phantom 8 is said to cater for the 73% and 70% of UAE and KSA smartphone users respectively that are using their handsets to take photos and videos. Its state-of-the-art dual camera has been reviewed to have power to achieve 10 times super zoom and auto re-focus.

The all-new Phantom 8 embraces the region’s requirements and is more powerful than ever in both speed and photo quality,” Arif Chowdhury, Vice President of Transsion Holdings, said during the launch event.
TECNO Mobile is the pioneer phone brand aiming to create an entertainment ecosystem tailor-made based on the needs and habits of young consumers across markets on an Android platform. This customization differs for each market and target audience.

The 7 inches full HD display phablet spots a diamond style design that comes with a 3D Lighting, unibody metal edge, a 2.5 D Drip Screen-curved battery cover, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage that is expandable upto 2TB, 2.6 GHz CPU ultra-fast experience that supports 4G+ at a downloadable speed up to 300Mbps. The Phantom 8 also packs 20MP front camera (one of a kind) alongside a smart dual selfie flash, 12/13MP dual AF rear cameras, Android 7.0 Nougat with HiOS 3.0, 3500 mAh battery with 150 minutes of talk time with only 10 minutes of battery charge.
The flagship will be available at a date to be announced, and has also been priced at 1399 AED (roughly USD$381, 1.4 million UGX).
