Photo & Video Sharing Social Platform ‘SnapChat’ Reaches 500 Million Android Installs

With it’s initial release on September 2011, Photo & video sharing, Instant messaging, and Multimedia social platform SnapChat as it is currently one of the most worldly used mobile application on Android and iOS has officially passed 500 million installs on Google Play Store.

According to reports by Android Police, the photo-sharing platform, has recognized it should focus on its Android app development to keep its users and growth.

Notably, SnapChat also late last month was reportedly said to be planning on launching an Android smartphone that will give consumers more control over the camera features.

Online reports far mentioned that the device might include a lock screen that allows users to easily swipe for SnapChat notifications and updates, messaging, and also syncing with its SnapChat Spectacles.[related-posts]
