You can now log into WeChat on iOS using just your voice

Messaging app WeChat has introduced a new feature called Voiceprint which allows you to log in to your account without your password by reading a set of numbers out loud.

The update was discovered this morning after logging in.

The company has not yet released any official announcement regarding the new security feature.

The feature at the moment is on iOS only and not yet available on Android. It works by using the unique sound of your voice to identify you, similar to a fingerprint reader.

Another new feature that allows you to sync customized stickers automatically if you log in on a new device was also introduced.
