Nyege Nyege Launches Android App Ahead of Festival

Nyege Nyege on Wednesday evening launched their android application ahead of their anticipated musical festival. The app is the first in Nyege Nyege’s arsenal since their inauguration in 2015.

The application will allow the users, to navigate through the festival’s programs without hustle. Previously, this was done with use of posters, that users looked to to know their next agenda.

The organizers said they want to make it much easier for people to know what and which programs they can attend right through their phones. However, they cautioned users to be extra careful with theft.

The app let’s you create your own schedule, navigate you around the site and, create a list of your favorite events — that you get notified 15 min prior it happening. In addition, users can also filter performers best on preference for instance, selecting the performance time of acts specific to one country.

As seen by PC Tech Magazine, the app is user friendly, and it is so much easier to use. The application is 5MBs large and requires android v5.1 or higher.

The app also features artists bios with links to their social media platforms.

The application is only available for Android users.
