The itel P33 with the Acclaimed 80 Hour Battery Life Finally Launches in Uganda

Itel Mobile has on Monday officially announced its latest Power series smartphones ‘itel P33’ in Uganda. Building on the premium legacy of long-lasting battery performance, the flagship handset embodies a revolutionary battery setup with the industry-leading technologies that takes smartphone battery experience to a whole new level.

The itel P33 now the latest in the Power series itel mobiles also becomes the successor of the itel P32 that launched in Aug. 2018. Now the itel P33 brings on premium features and better performance than its predecessor.

During the unveiling of the phones, Ms. Lindah Nakityo; Communications Manager, itel mobile Uganda said; “With the newly unveiled itel P33, itel Mobile is committed to providing best-in-class smartphones for everyone that offers more value with cutting-edge technology, features, and style but at a very friendly price.”

She further said, the itel P33 is extending the reputation of an exceptional value proposition that no mid-range flagship smartphone can match. Quoting her, she said “We’re confident, this device will not just raise the bar but will satisfy our consumer’s need of a long-lasting battery to the fullest.”

The main highlight on the flagship is its massive 4, 000mAh battery. The company claims the phone can go up-to 80 hours on normal usage, 22 hours continual 3G phone call, and 350 hours standby. PC Tech Magazine is yet to receive a handset for review, where our critics will have to prove this theory. However, itel mobile phones are known for its better performance when it comes to battery life.

With the itel P33, the company said the battery comes integrated with an advanced AI Power Master. This helps control the handset’s power consumption in many scenarios automatically as company claims. Furthermore, the power saving mode intelligently adjust the phone performance and apps to extend battery life by 35% at most.

Specifications of the itel P33
The interesting part comes to the handset’s specifications. The Dual SIM 5.5-Inch handset flagship runs on Android Oreo (GO Edition) to optimize the phones performance coupled with the 4, 000mAh battery. The phone is powered by a Quad-core 1.3GHz processor paired with 1GB RAM with an on-board storage of 16GB.

In terms of imaging and video, it spots a dual rear camera at 8MP+0.8MP and a single front shooter at 5MP. The rear camera is capable of shooting videos in 720p at 30 frames per second (fps).

Additionally, itel P33 comes with face unlock and fingerprint sensor to secure your privacy. Compare to P32, now the P33 fingerprint quick access functions have been upgraded from 5 functions to 8. In terms of connectivity, it supports a microUSB v2.0, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, and GPS.

The phone is priced at UGX270, 000 and is available in vibrant range of colors; Champagne Gold, Deep Grey — including the new fashionable Aqua Blue color.
