Rapa Thomson Ricky Honored At The World Youth Forum

Safeboda Co-Founder, Rapa Thomson Ricky has been honored by the President of Egypt, H.E Abdel Fattah el-Sisi as one of African entrepreneurs playing a great role in shaping the future of Africa. Ricky received the accolade from the President at the 3rd annual World Youth Forum in Egypt.

The company took to their Twitter account to unveil the announcement, saying, quote “Our Co-Founder represented us at the world youth forum and was handed an honor award by H.E President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.”

Ricky alongside his Co-Founders, Maxime Dieudonne and Alastair Sussock launched Safeboda in 2014 with its official business kicking off in 2015. To date it celebrates over 8000+ riders in Uganda, and over 600 in Kenya. Safeboda plans on expanding to other African cities including; Kigali (Rwanda), Dar es Salaam (Tanzania), and Lagos (Nigeria). [related-posts]
