Infinix Mobility earlier claimed it was launching the successor of the Infinix Hot 6 on March 3rd, however the company has come out to officially confirm that the Infinix Hot 7 will be launched on March 4th, 2019 in Uganda.

While the company has officially announced the launch date, little is known about the specifications and features the flagship handset will bear. But what do know the Infinix Hot 7 might be much upgraded compared to its predecessor.

Notably, Infinix Mobility is surprisingly launching its first smartphone in the Q1 of 2019 breaking the signature of launching first flagships in the Q2 of every year. In our opinion, Infinix Mobility, could be in plans of launching more handsets compared to last year’s results.

Like we mentioned before, little is know on flagship’s specs, however, as per on-going rumors, we picked out some of the expectations for the Infinix Hot 7.

Well, its predecessor, the Infinix Hot 6 has a 6-Inch screen display which isn’t fully HD, we expect the Infinix Hot 7 to have a bigger screen and supports 1080p (Full HD+) display resolution. As per rumors, the display is reportedly to be notched, which could be an expectation since Infinix Mobility might not be in plans of getting rid of the feature sooner. However, we expect the feature to be software-based — meaning it can be hid from settings. Still on display, we expect the Infinix Hot 7 to come with a 19:9 screen aspect ratio.[related-posts]

In terms of storage, multiple rumors hit out that the flagship handset might come in two storage options. Expected storage options are 1GB/16GB and 2GB/32GB. Both storage will be paired with a MT6580P chipset and a Quad-core 1.3 GHz processor — much better compared to the Hot 6. The phones will run on Android 8.1 Oreo topped on with Infinix XOS v4.1 UI.

Camera perspective, the sensors will be AI integrated for better scene detection and beautification — well this is where most smartphones are headed. The Hot 7 we expect to see a dual rear camera setting seen from one of the company’s promo, a front facing 10MP camera which will be embed on the notch.

The Hot 7 will have a fingerprint sensor at the rear, and the FaceID remains as well. Seen from the Hot 7 banner online of a face identification, proves the Hot 7 will have the security feature.
