Infinix Mobility Teases the Hot 6 Pro, Dual Camera Setup & 18:9 Aspect Ratio Rumored

After successfully launching their mid-range smartphone; Infinix S3, Transsion Holdings-owned Infinix Mobile has announced the arrival of  Infinix Hot 6 Pro, and Hot 6 that will be successor for the Hot 5 – that is set to launch later this year. And as per online rumors, the launch is said to be in Nairobi, Kenya.

What has the flagship going is its full view display – the 18:9 aspect screen ratio, and will be the first to spot the feature in the Infinix line of mobiles. The other could be the dual rear camera setup. However, we’ve seen the Infinix Zero 5 already featured with a dual rear camera setup. So this won’t be new to the Infinix mobiles though the Hot 6 Pro will be the second to come with this.

However, as per rumors, the dual rear camera setting isn’t that appealing. The cameras will spot 13MP + 2MP. On the Zero 5, the set up was a 12MP f2.0 camera and a secondary 13MP f2.6 2x telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom over the primary lens. In our opinion, Infinix can do better than this considering the fact that the Hot 6 Pro is a high-end device. And the fact that some of its phones have been considered to have good cameras. It will be disappionting to see the Hot 6 Pro come with 13MP + 2MP camera sensors.

The Infinix HOT 6 Pro has been said to come with Android Oreo 8.1, Qualcomm Snapdragon 425, a MediaTek Helio P23 Processor, 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB variants, 4G LTE supported on a 4,000mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery.

Notably, the Infinix S3 was launched and made available in Uganda last month, and our team is doing a review that will be posted later.

The total price for HOT6 Pro is expected to be approximately UGX 539,000/=.
