The Innovation Village is Hosting the 4th Annual ASENTI

The African Summit on Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ASENTI) and Exhibition is a platform for global entrepreneurship and innovation open to applicants from Africa and across the world with its main goals – to create a platform that enhances idea sharing and interaction among sectors in order for the entrepreneurs to be a catalyst for innovation and economic growth in Africa.

The last three annual editions were held in Kenya, with the aim of encouraging entrepreneurs to interact with other stakeholders. In a change this time around, the 4th annual edition will not only be held in Uganda from October 27th to 28th at Innovation Village; a tech and incubation hub, but will also be held in South Africa from November 9th to 11th this year under the theme “Rethinking Innovation Africa”.

Notably, the summit will be attended by mostly students, startups, micro enterprises, SMEs, Chamber of commerce and professionals from across different industries in Uganda and other countries. In addition, over 200 delegates and over 40 speakers from across the globe will be in attendance.

The summit will focus on topics including; youth empowerment through employebility skills, energy, agribusiness, finance, media, science and mobile technology and new technology trends, to mention a few.
