Unboxing and First Impression of the itel S31

Launched in January 2017, the itel S31 is the latest in the itel S-series where the ‘S’ stands for selfie, succeeding the itel S11, and is available for sale in authorized itel dealers globally in Black, Rose Gold, and Champagne Gold color variants.

Spec-wise, the phablet is an Android flagship with a large 5.5″ inch IPS HD Screen display, packed with 1GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage (ROM) with an expandable slot of up to 32GB, backed on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and 2,400 removable Li-ion battery that can last for at least 8 hours on talk time and 250 hours standby time. In terms of connectivity, it supports 2G and 3G, and also has Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth version v3.0, microUSB version v3.0 capabilities, and so forth.

The box looks pretty awesome with it’s Red and Black, and inside the box is all what says about the phone.

Inside the box is the 5.5-Inch phablet, a 2,400 mAh Li-ion removable battery, white pair of headsets, a microUSB v3.0 data and charging cable, wall socket adapter, and a flip phone cover.

First Impression

  1. It’s Rear and Front camera at 5MP take really nice looking pictures even during/in low light intensity for an entry smartphone.
  2. Weighs about 140g which is really portable and flexible to carry along with.
  3. The black finishing really pulled it off.
