HMD Global, the company licensing the Nokia brand, has silently listed the 4G variant of the Nokia 3310 on the official Nokia website. And according to Gadgets 360, Nokia has partnered with China Mobile to make the new model available in the country.

The China launch was first reported by Nokia Power User.

Nokia 3310 4G comes in two color options: Fresh Blue and Deep Black. It is available as an upgrade to the modernized Nokia 3310 that was launched last year though it was a 2G variant. Unlike the Nokia 3310 2G that runs Nokia Series 30+ OS and its 3G variant that was debuted on Java-based Feature OS, the 4G variant comes with YunOS, which is a forked Android version built by China’s Alibaba. The phone also comes with a preloaded MP3 player.

Specifications

The YunOS-based Nokia 3310 4G features a 2.4-inch QVGA color display, 256MB of RAM and 512MB internal storage that is expandable via microSD card of up to 64GB).

The phone sports a 2MP camera sensor on the back with an LED flash. Further, it packs a 1200mAh BL-4UL battery that is rated to deliver up to five hours of talk time on a 4G VoLTE network and 16 hours of music playback on a single charge.

In terms of connectivity, it packs Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Price and global availability details of the new Nokia 3310 variant are likely to be announced at Mobile World Congress 2018  next month.
