Kenya’s Standard Chartered Bank on Monday launched a new feature for Apple iOS device with Touch ID sensors and Samsung Android devices, dubbed ‘Touch Login’ that allows customers to use fingerprint to access their accounts.

According to Telecompaper, the portal is available on iPhones, tablets and iPads, making it easy for clients to access their bank account balances, cards and investments securely using their fingerprints as identifiers to fully access their full mobile banking services.

Customers can move money between accounts, check transactions, pay credit card bills and send electronic orders from the tip of their fingers.

Touch Login was piloted in Singarpore, the UEA and India early this year before it was launched in Kenya.
