Everything That’s Coming to Netflix This Month, May 2023

Amidst the criticism against Netflix for “falsifying history” following the casting of a black Cleopatra in a new docudrama series, the Queen Cleopatra series will land on the streaming platform on May 10 starring British actor Adele James in the title role.

In addition to the docudrama series, over 5,000 other titles will be added to Netflix’s library this May, including the R-rated action blockbuster The Mother, starring Jennifer Lopez and directed by Niki Caro. Other titles I’m personally looking forward to are; an action-comedy FUBAR starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bridgerton which is expanding with the new spin-off series, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story starring India Ria Amarteifio as Young Queen Charlotte and Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte.
