Infinix Set To Unveil a New Hot Series’ Smartphone in Uganda

Infinix Mobility has announced it is set to unveil a new smartphone in the HOT series handset in Uganda. The smartphone manufacturer didn’t mention the date, however, it might probably be later this month.

The smartphone to be launched in the Infinix HOT10 Play that will succeeded the HOT9 Play which was launched earlier in 2020.

Infinix Uganda PR; Ms. Isabel Ainembabazi in a press statement released on Thursday evening said, “The HOT10 Play will come with greatly improved features compared to the HOT9 Play giving a user the freedom to explore their phone without worrying about recharging.” She adds that the HOT10 Play will be powered by a 6000mAh non-removable battery and comes with an Ultra Power Mode feature which gives owners more power.

The HOT10 Play is said to come equipped with a HELIO G25 Octa-core chipset, a 6.82-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720×1640 pixels giving users an ultimate cinematic visual experience.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Infinix Hot 10 Play’s rear will might come with a 13MP sensor with the portrait blurring effect which is one of the trend with the latest smartphones. The camera will also have features such as Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus. On the other side, the front camera might come with an 8MP sensor.

There might be an upgrade on the mobile OS, and it will come with Android (Go Edition) topped with the company’s XOS 7.0 interface.

There’s no much to know as the company didn’t reveal much. But price and storage wise, the 32GB/2GB and 64GB/4GB variants might be priced at UGX480,000 and UGX550,000 respectively. The phones are expected to come in four color options.
