We need simple research of asking just like a “By-the-Way” what most infinix smartphone users and other groups of smartphone users what they liked about the company’s newly introduced HOT 10 handset and a majority were said they liked the Display, Cameras (mostly the rear cameras) and Battery.

Firstly, the Infinix HOT 10, we can say it is handy phone to own. The phone comes as a successor of the HOT 9 that was released in April 2020, —and barely six months, the company releases the HOT 10.

The phone is priced at UGX557,000, available in obisdian black, amber red, ocean wave, and moonlight jade color options. We got the moonlight jade color variant for review and it managed to score 67% which was our opinion and not users perspective. For users opinion, we asked what they liked about the phone and a majority said it was the display, rear cameras and the battery.

The display is large probably that’s why a majority of users picked it. In our review we found out that the display was natural with a 6.78-Inch size displayed in HD+ with a screen resolution of 1640×720. The display is vibrant and the brightness is just about adequate indoors. Having a large display size means more viewership, less scrolling and a better entertainment experience.

The camera mainly the rear camera was another choice for users. A certain group liked the cameras because it was more than one sensor while others liked it because of the photos it were producing. The phone comes with rear quad camera with 16 MP, (wide) + 2 MP, (macro) + 2 MP, (depth) + QVGA (Low light sensor) sensors. All the shots taken using this phone were good and worth sharing on social media even without editing. Infinix has always put my emphasis on making sure that the cameras of each of its new/upcoming phones will have to satisfy their customers and indeed they are keeping up with it and improving while keep up with the latest camera tech and innovation trends as well.

Finally it was the battery life of the phone. Those that choice this spec were mostly heavy phone users who liked socializing, web browsing and use of entertainment (like we were told). According to them, as heavy users, they charged once in the day and the phone was able to take them throughout the day and possible the next day if not charged not throughout the night. In our review, we saw that the one area the HOT 10 really excelled was with the battery life. The phone has a non-removable Li-Po 5,200mAh battery which lasted for around two full days, with medium to light usage. Even with a lot of gaming, social networking and web-browsing, we were able to get at least a day and half, which is very good. My only gripe is the long time needed to charge the battery. It took nearly 3 hours and 30 minutes to have it fully charged and worst of all the phone doesn’t support fast charging. But once juiced up, you get the use the phone with no much worries of running low on battery that quick.

Conclusion

The Infinix HOT 10 is a decent pick at its RRP UGX557,000 if all you want is a basic Android smartphone with strong battery life, good for gaming, and video experience. The performance is average, and the cameras are just about serviceable.
