SafeBoda Gradually Rolling Out its Revamped App
After months of beta testing with a select group of people, SafeBoda is finally rolling out its revamped app for its users.
The revamped app comes after the company last week leaked a 22 second video on their official Twitter giving a sneak peak of the app.
The update now available for all users in their respective app stores will be rolled out gradually. Users who update the app will see an all freshen up app. The final production app is version v3.0.6 from v3.0.5 used in the beta program.
Embracing technology, the company has revolutionized the moto-taxi transportation industry in Uganda. “We are obsessed with the user experience! which pushes us to work with the latest technology,” says SafeBoda.
SafeBoda has totally revamped the application from the ground up. The company says the new app comes with improved location accuracy, and app speed — in which we ought to see in our review.
One interesting feature we have seen in the new app is the live location view while on trip — same feature seen in Uber and Bolt (former Taxify).
The other feature is the ability of customers giving written feedback after each trip. The feedback section is coupled with the rating we have come to see.
