On Monday 4th, Infinix Mobility brought to rest Ugandans anticipation as they officially unveiled the Inifinix Hot 7 to market. The handset flagship is the latest in the company’s hot-series, and successor to the Hot 6.
The phone surprisingly has been priced below UGX500,000 we had estimated. The company price tags that phone at UGX439,000 which UGX29,000 less than its predecessor. With all the premium features that come with the Infinix Hot 7, I would mention it’s worth upgrading to, or buying.
The phone biggest highlights, a huge bezel-less notched display and a dual 13MP+8MP rear camera setting. The company also announced the availability of the handset in a purple color option that got its consumers excited. The Infinix Hot 7 is as well available in blue, black, champagne gold color options.
According to Infinix, the flagship phone targets consumers who require a phone with a high performance and large battery that handle the daily activities.
Specs and Features of the Infinix Hot 7
Looking at the specifications and features, not much has changed from its predecessor.
The dual-sim handset has a 6.2-Inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen notched display with a resolution of 720 x 1500 pixels. The build can easily be confused of glass, but is all plastic. The Infinix Hot 7 comes in 1GB/16GB and 2GB/32GB storage options — the on-board storage is expandable with a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 8.1 topped with Infinix XOS UI, 32 nm Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 processor.
In terms of imaging and optics, the front camera packs a 8MP sensor, while the the dual rear come with a 13MP+8MP sensors. The rear camera can shoot videos in 1080p in 30fps while the front shots 720p in 30fps. Both cameras come AI integrated better for scene detection and beautification.
In terms of connectivity, the Infinix Hot 7 supports Wi-Fi 802.11, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v4.2, microUSB 2.0, 3G/4G and GPS. It’s non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery supports fast battery charging.
