Huawei has unveiled the lightweight MateBook 13 laptop and a family-friendly Mediapad M5 lite tablet at the biggest consumer electronics showcase at Las Vegas, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019.
The new MateBook 13, a 13-inch Ultrabook at CES 2019, which features an 8th-generation Whiskey Lake, full-power processors, 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of RAM, with an optional Nvidia GeForce MX150 GPU. This all powers a 13.3-inch FullView 2K touch screen and a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.
The laptop will be available later in January starting from for $999.
The new tablet is built with families in mind, offering a Kid’s Corner, eye-comfort mode and a built-in fingerprint sensor to enable parental controls. The 8.0″ tablet comes with a metal unibody with 2.5D curved glass on the front and quad-curved edges on the back, four built-in speakers, a 10.1-inch Full HD IPS screen, the Huawei Kirin 659 octa-core chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of ROM with an expandable memory capacity of up to 256GB and a 7,500 mAh battery. In addition, it comes with a stylus for writing and drawing on the screen.
