TechBuzz Hub to Kick Off a Startup Facility Program

Tech and Entrepreneurship innovation hub; TechBuzz has scheduled to kick start a “Startup Facility Program” – a comprehensive six (6) months facilitated program they has been recommended for starters, budding entrepreneurs, startups, innovators, and managers with the main aim of reducing the high rate of startup fails.

With this Program, participants will be facilitated with mentorship and training to structure, grow and create an investable startup business, after which they believe ones Startup, concept or idea would have obtained a structure capable of attracting capital and more likely if it deals with products, is able to have started generating revenues.

Eligibility of Participation and Program commencement and Schedules: 
Participation is open but limited to participating individuals or teams ready to pay facilitation fees of Three hundred thousand (300,000 UGX) and on-boarding with a startup, an Idea or a concept to work upon.

After payments; which can be made via the Bank, Mobile Money, and Cash, participants will be availed with an access link thus required to create an account with the hub to enable you access the training and mentoring software.

Registration ends on 14th January as the program (Startup Facility) is scheduled to commence on 15th January to 15th June, 2018.

TechBuzz Hub opened last year ending March, and promised to focus on strengthening and attracting more partners ready to improve the social and economic position of Ugandans today. One of the Founders of the hub told this website that the Hub is a tech and business development hub that aims at bridging the incubation gap in the country and to create ways to overcome the barriers to employment, business sustainability, and social development caused by the immense gap underlying between innovation and investment in Uganda.

Notably, since its launch, the hub has participated in a number of innovative, startup, and entrepreneurship events that has managed to raise it’s name to the existing innovative hubs. They were nominated twice in the recent ended 2nd annual MTN Uganda innovation awards. And on the other hand, they’re also planning on launching a traffic mobile application dubbed; Transport XL – that aims to monitor traffic flow and available parking spaces in Kampala. Because of their innovation, they were featured in one of the country’s leading news paper; The New Vision, where they were interviewed on their progress of bringing the app to reality.
