Watch the Launch of the Pixel Smartphones on the ‘Made by Google’ YouTube Channel: Here’s How

As we wait for Huawei to unveil the Mate 10 Pro later this month, Mountain View-based internet firm, Google Corp. will today be unveiling the successors of the Pixel, and Pixel XL at a launch event that will be held in San Francisco at 7p.m. East Africa Time (EAT) after a month full of multiple teasers, one being a short YouTube video, and the other was a billboard post.

However, since the launch is today, and most of us can’t make it to the event, you can bring the event to yourself. Interested viewers can watch the live stream from Google’s own video sharing platform YouTube. All they need to do is to search for Made by Google YouTube channel and click on the top most video titled ‘October 4th – Google Event.‘ You can also set a reminder from the page so that you don’t miss out.

On the other hand, the search-engine firm has not yet mentioned what it will be launching. However, according to rumors and reports from past few weeks we can assume the arrival of new smartphones, speaker, and VR headset.

As we mentioned before in our previous posts, the Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL are said to be manufactured by HTC and LG respectively. The Pixel 2 has been rumored to come with HTC U11’s ‘Active Edge’ technology where users can squeeze the sides of the device to trigger apps while the Pixel 2 XL may come with an extended display, something to similar to what we have seen with the LG V30.

Editor’s Note: At exactly 7:00p.m. EAT, go to the Made by Google YouTube channel to watch the whole launch live, and share you thoughts in our comment section, and also use #pctechmagazine in your tweets, and Facebook posts.
