Rumors: Samsung Might Only Launch the Galaxy S8 4GB RAM and 64GB Storage Variant

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is heavily rumored to launch on March 29th and go on sale on April 21st. Before the unveiling, according to new reports by Chinese tipster’s tweet, the Samsung Galaxy S8 flagship is said to be launched in a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. This is in addition to the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant that was leaked earlier on several occasions.

However, according to NDTV news, the tipster claimed that the 6GB RAM variant will be exclusive to the Chinese and South Koreans markets depending on demand, while the company decides whether to release the variant globally.

In any case, Samsung will only unveil the 4GB RAM variant on launch day.

In a separate report emerging from South Korea claims that the battery capacities for both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will have 3250mAh and 3759mAh respectively, which is higher than their predecessors; the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. However, Evan Blas of @evleaks a well known tipster, said that the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will have 3000mAh and 3500mAh battery capacities, respectively.[related-posts]
