Huawei Has Confirmed it Will Launch the ‘Huawei P10 and Watch 2’ at the MWC 2017

After the success of the CES 2017, where multiple companies all over the world came to show case their latest innovation/inventions, products, and so forth, let’s also expect the best from the upcoming anticipate Mobile World Congress 2017 which scheduled to take place in Barcelona on Feb 26th.

One of the world’s smartphone markers, Huawei Corp. is seen sending out media invites for its MWC 2017 where we ought to see the company launch the upgrade/successor to its 2016’s famous Huawei P9 smartphone.

The Chinese smartphone giant has rolled out several image teasers on its social media platforms to officially announce the arrival of the Huawei P10 smartphone at MWC 2017. Huawei has even rolled out a video teaser with the tag line. ‘Change the way the world sees you.’

The teasers indicate that the Huawei P10 may sports a dual camera setup at the back (just like its predecessor), and will be made available in Gold, Green, and Blue color variants. No mentions on why the Black and Grey color variants have been abandoned. Furthermore, according to online sources, the CEO of the company; Richard Yu took to Weibo to confirm that the Huawei Watch 2 will also be unveiled at the event.

On its specifications according to on-going rumors;

The 5.2-inch phablet is said to spot a QHD display resolution, Kirin 960 Octa-core processor with Mali G71 Octa-core GPU, 4GB RAM / 64GB storage & 6GB RAM / 128GB storage bundle variants, 20MP & 12MP dual rear sensors, at the front will be at 8MP camera setup. The Huawei P10 is also tipped to pack a 3100mAh battery and will indeed support wireless charging just like the upcoming iPhone 8 that is also said to support wireless charging.

While on the other hand of the Huawei Smartwatch, sources claim that the company was rumored to launch its (Smartwatch) late last year, but delayed it to wait for the arrival of Android Wear 2.0. The biggest rumor of the Huawei Watch 2 is that it is tipped to come with a built-in SIM card slot for cellular connectivity

Designed in collaboration with Google, LG has of recent launched the first of its Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches, ‘LG Watch Style and Watch Sport’. While smartphone maker ZTE Corp. was also reported working on its first ever Android wear 2.0 smartwatch that it dubbed the ‘ZTE Quartz’.
