A new report has revealed that Facebook is coming after LinkedIn, following tests of features that allow administrators to create job postings and receive applications from interested candidate.

According to the post, Facebook has made the development based on behaviors they have seen on Facebook, where many small businesses post about their job openings on their Page.

Facebook will be faced with the task of trying to mix business and pleasure which is not easy to execute.

However, this will be a great opportunity for job seekers and employers since most people typically following their favorite businesses on Facebook.

There is no word on when the service might launch, however, we will keep you updated.

  1. I am assuming there will be a charge? I hope not as we can currently post to FB groups to advertise job postings for free. Also, it would be nice if there were a feature where individuals looking for jobs could indicate they are interested in new opportunities like LinkedIn.
