SGS has been appointed by the Ministry of Works and Transport (MoWT) to implement the Mandatory Vehicle Inspection Services (MVIS) programme involving the development, installation and operation of vehicle inspection centers on a national scale to improve road safety by assuring the road worthiness of vehicles in circulation in Uganda.
The Systems Administrator will be tasked with effectively managing systems operations to ensure optimal services to end- users and contribute to the company’s business.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Systems Administrator vacancy should hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics or Software Engineering. Minimum four years directly related to Network and Systems Administration in a busy environment.
- Possession of any of these professional qualifications i.e. MSCE/MSCA, RHCSA/RHCE, CCNA/CCNP qualification (or equivalent) is mandatory.
- Broad working knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating systems
- Broad knowledge and understanding of computer and information security.
