The buzz created by Samsung Galaxy S6 is no more; speculations have already hit the web-space suggesting what we can expect from Samsung’s next flagship.

Some guys are already claiming that the so-called Galaxy S7 would be released earlier than expected. They based their reason on the poor sales of the Samsung Galaxy S6.

Sales of Samsung Galaxy S6 didn’t meet company’s forecast. Samsung is said to be struggling with Apple in the U.S and Xiaomi in China. It reported its seventh consecutive quarterly loss in July 2015.

Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5 reportedly hit the 10 million sales mark faster than the Galaxy S6. Although, the S6 didn’t meet company’s expectations, it is said that the S6 Edge variant has been selling like hot-cakes and it was initially difficult for Samsung to keep up with demand.

Release Date
Samsung will most likely follow its launch sequence of the Galaxy range of smartphones. Samsung will bring the so-called Galaxy S7 to the 2016 Mobile Word Congress in February. An official release date will follow during or after the event.[related-posts]

A source from Korea doesn’t agree with us, they claim the Galaxy S7 will launch in January 2016. Another rumor suggests a December release date. We are in December already and this doesn’t seem likely.

Evleaks, our popular leakster believes the Samsung Galaxy S7 will launch in the first quarter of 2016, he claims AT&T are already testing both variant of the mobile device, SM-G930A and -G935A.

Price
Samsung is said to be seriously considering making the Galaxy S7 cheaper than the Galaxy S6 as it continues to get wimped by Apple and Xiaomi.

We will let this one slip for now, and update it when we have something really concrete to support such. But we expect the Galaxy S7 to slide into a price range of $800-$900.

Rumors And Specs
According to a Korean report, Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will look like its processor. The report claims the upcoming Samsung smartphones will retain the same metal and glass design that rocked the Galaxy S6.

Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will have two screen sizes. Unconfirmed sources claims the Galaxy S7 will spot a 5.2-inch display while the S7 Edge would be equipped with a 5.8-inch QHD panel. The Galaxy S7 Plus is said to be a phablet, will reportedly come with a 6-inch display.

Just like the rumored specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 5 screen technologywhich is said to mimic the 3D Touch of the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus with Synaptics’ ClearFore technology, Samsung will likely join Xioami with the recent technology.

Speculations also suggest that the so-called Galaxy S7 is the much talked about Project Valley, the smartphone with a foldable display.

Samsung Galaxy S7 will likely feature Qualcomm’s next-gen Snapdragon 820 chip and its in-house Exynos processor. The variant with Exynos processor would be sold in the U.S. while the variant with Snapdragon 820 chip would be sold in other regions.

Samsung Galaxy S7 will come with 4GB RAM, although the possibility of stacking a 6GB RAM also popped up somewhere in the internet.

microSD slot is said to be re-introduced to the Galaxy S7. The smartphone manufacturer will also offer Windows 10-style iris scanning technology for an extra-level of security.

On the Camera specs-sheet, Samsung will ditch its sensor for the powerful Sony sensor. Sony recently acquired Toshiba’s CMOS businessmaking it the industry leader,  it now has the capacity to mass produce these components. Samsung Galaxy S7 is said to feature the same 23MP camera that’s rocking the Xperia Z5 line-up.

Other things worthy of mention include the possibility of the device featuring a USB Type-C port. The Galaxy S7 line-up will feature Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and could be released in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB models.

At this time, this is what rumour suggest about the Galaxy S7 line-up. You are advised to retain your skepticism regarding this information since we are unable to get concrete proof that supports it.
