The 6th Africa Peering and Interconnection Forum (AfPIF) has kicked off today.
The 3 day event takes place from 25-27 August, 2015 in Maputo, Mozambique and will discuss regional interconnection dynamics and content issues that are critical components of transit deficits.
AfPIF will also seek to foster cross-border interconnection opportunities by ensuring that key players — infrastructure providers, Internet service providers (ISPs), IXPs, international financial institutions, and policy-makers and regulators are present at the event.
The event is being streamed live via the Internet Society livestream channel. Maputo time is UTC+3.
