How To Enable Whatsapp Calling Feature On Android

In case you are looking forward to the WhatsApp calling feature, there is a way you can try it out on Android before it becomes available.

What you are going to need is an  updated Whats app version(latest) and the Terminal Emulator.

Here are the steps:

1. Open Whatsapp Make sure it is running inside the background.

2. Open Terminal Emulator and type “su”  Press enter when done. This is to grant SuperUser permission to the  Terminal Emulator. Press Enter incase you are prompted to grant superuser access.
I cannot provide a screenshot for this step since i did not take one and my emulator already has SuperUser permission.

3. Type “am start -n com.whatsapp/com.whatsapp.HomeActivity” and press enter.

4. Whatsapp is going to automatically Open and will see the calls feature.

However, you may not be able to make calls unless you have friends who are already using the feature.

The steps have been tested on A rooted Samsung Galaxy Mega running Android version 4.0.

In case it dos not work with your device, probably it needs root access.
