Sony debuts its USB type-C and type-A dual flash drives

Sony has launched its USB type-C and type-A dual connection flash drive – which will be available in three storage capacities – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage capacities.

The newly launched flash drive supports USB 3.1 Gen 1 standard with read speeds of up to 130MB/s. Having a metal build, it comes with a silicone cover and a lanyard hole.

Sony says the USB type-C dual connection flash drive can transfer files between a range of devices such as Apple MacBook 12-inch, PCs, smartphones and tablets which come with USB type-C ports, and PCs with conventional USB type-A ports.
