‘The authority has resolved to take remedial measures relating to enforcement of quality service in order to protect public interest in pursuant of the Information and Communication Technologies Act No.15 of 2009.’ Nankonde said.
Further, Ms Nankonde noted that increased complaints from customers regarding deteriorating levels of service had prompted the start of legal action, claiming that all three operators were failing to meet minimum standards of quality service provision.
