The new 079 prefix joins MTN’s existing family of number ranges, 077, 078, 031, 039, and 076, reinforcing the telco’s commitment to providing seamless and accessible communication services for all Ugandans.
Effective immediately, new customers can acquire MTN numbers within the 0790000000 to 0790999999 range, ensuring they can enjoy the full suite of MTN’s telecom and financial services. This development does not affect existing MTN numbers, and all customers will continue to experience the high-quality service they have come to expect from Uganda’s most trusted telecom provider.
