Infinix is on the cusp of launching its latest flagship device, the Infinix NOTE 40 series later this week in Uganda — and according to the company, the series will come with an array of groundbreaking features, promising to redefine the standards of performance, charging capabilities, and display technology.
The series is expected to come in four variants, NOTE 40, NOTE 40 Pro, NOTE 40 Pro+, and perhaps a 5G handset.
The series is reported to come with a revolutionary cutting-edge 100W fast charge and a 20W MagSafe Charger ensuring that users can power up their devices quickly and effortlessly. While it hasn’t been confirmed, it is reported that the phones will be able to charge from 1% to 50% in 8 minutes.
“One of the most compelling features of the Infinix NOTE 40 series is its lightning-fast charging capabilities,” one of the reports states. “The phone is equipped with 100W All-Round Fast Charge 2.0 technology that charges from 1% to 50% in just 8 minutes, this device ensures that you spend less time tethered to charging outlets and more time enjoying uninterrupted usage.”
The Infinix NOTE 40 series is rumored to come with a 3D-curved 120Hz AMOLED display protected with corning gorilla glass for enhanced durability.
The phones will come with 8GB and 12GB of RAM which can be doubled with virtual RAM —and onboard storage of up to 256GB that can be expanded with a microSD card. Two variants in the series will be powered by Helio G99 chipset and the other two will be powered by a Dimensity 7020 chipset. All the Note 40 models will come with Infinix XOS 14 (based on Android 14).
The series is rumored to boast a 108MP OIS super zoom camera to capture every moment with unparalleled clarity and detail. The front camera will have a 32MP sensor.
