SafeBoda Offers 20% Cashback on Airtime Purchase on Good Friday

Moto-taxi railing company, SafeBoda has today announced it will give its customers 20% cashback on every airtime purchase they make on the app between 12 PM and 2 PM. The percentage of cashback has always been 10%, however, celebrating Good Friday with its customers, SafeBoda has increased the cashback by 10% to allow its customers to get more.

Buying Airtime From SafeBoda Cashless Account
First, you need to make sure you have money in your account and that your app is up to date. You can deposit money to your account using mobile money (HERE’s HOW), a SafeBoda driver, or a mobile money agent.

Once you have money on your SafeBoda wallet, you can now buy airtime to earn a 20% cashback.

1. Locate your app on your phone, and open it.
2. Once opened, locate the ‘Buy Airtime‘ tab.
3. Enter the phone number of the recipient (the recipient could be you or another person).
4. Once you’ve entered the phone number, choose how much you want to buy or enter the amount if not listed in the options.
5. You will be asked to enter your 4-PIN and once confirmed, the transaction will be made.

If you are a new user, you might be required to set your Wallet PIN before buying the airtime. To create the PIN:

1. Tap on Buy Airtime.
2. Tap on the Create PIN button that pops up.
3. Enter the new SafeBoda Wallet PIN and confirm it.

With your cashback topped up to your SafeBoda Wallet balance, you can use it to do more on the app. You can send it to other app users for FREE, withdraw it, use it to buy more airtime, pay up your bills, or even save it to earn interest.
