Nokia 8 handset holders will wait a couple of more days for the Android Pie Update roll-out. The update was supposed to be rolled out to Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco users in November but because of the delay, the update is expected to launch later this week. According to media reports, the delay by HMD Global cities a few issues that have pushed back the official roll-out indefinitely.

HMD Global Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas took to Twitter to say, “We have been burning the midnight oil to get your Nokia 8 on Android Pie. Unfortunately we still have few issues to address and need a couple of more days to make it perfect. Thank you for your patience.”

While Nokia 8 Sirocco is supposed to receive the update, HMD hasn’t issued a statement on its roll-out yet. Meanwhile Nokia handsets; 7 Plus, 6.1 Plus, 6.1, 7.1 have received the Android Pie update already.

Some of the best features of Android Pie include; Gesture Navigation, Improved Security, Adaptive Battery, Slices, Indoor Navigation via Wi-Fi RTT, among others.
