Unboxing and First Impressions of the itel S12

Conversations over social media lately have been pointing to itel’s new phone, the Itel S12, its Dual Selfie Camera and as said, its “highly responsive” finger print scanner. These conversations have since sparked enthusiasm over what the phone can do and how exceptional it would be from other phones that are already on the Ugandan market.

The device is finally here.

Although we won’t have our full review of the device up until we can explore every aspect of it, we did perform a quick unboxing of the unit, so you can get a sense of what comes inside the retail packaging.

The device arrives in a black and red package which contains a pair of headsets, a charging cable, an AC adapter, and a plastic phone cover.

The device looks pretty good with curved corners and stands out especially when compared to its siblings.

At the back, it has a single rear camera with a led flash, a finger print scanner and a speaker towards the lower end.

In front, the 5 inch screen – device has two selfie cameras and a led flash. It has a headphone jack at the upper end, a charging port and a mouth piece at the lower end.

According to itel officials, the device is available in three colours of Black, Gold and Silver.

PC Tech Magazine acquired a black one which will be assessed for a final review after two weeks of use.
