Earlier rumors had it that the Refurbished Note 7, dubbed; the Galaxy Note 7R would be going on sale this month. However, according to new reports, the South Korean smartphone firm; Samsung Electronics has been said it will next week start reselling the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 devices after a humiliating recall over exploding batteries last year which caused the firm dollars in lost profits and hammered its global credibility.

Around three million Galaxy Note 7 devices were returned to the firm.

Citing industry sources, South Korea’s Yonhap news agency and other news reports said Samsung would start selling refurbished devices at KRW 700,000 (USD$616 or approx. 2,211,440 UGX) with new batteries and updated software under the name Galaxy Note Fandom Edition (FE).

The sales are slated to start July 7th, Yonhap said.

The recall was deeply embarrassing for Samsung but after the company launching their latest flagship in the S-series; the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus has given the company positive reviews and sales.[related-posts]
