Ugandans Develop Platform to Locate Everyday Small Service Providers

A group of Ugandan youths has developed a new platform that connects users to everyday small service providers including cleaners, painters, wedding service providers, photographers, stationers, lawyers, accountants among others.

Dubbed Service Hunt, the platform allows users to locate, connect and engage with service providers in real time.

It also provides an opportunity for small service providers to advertise their businesses online and offers listing services to help the public to search through, locate and contact service providers.

According to the founders, Service Hunt currently has over 500 Service providers whose profiles are listed on the platform.

The service is currently operational in Uganda and hopes to expand to the regional countries of Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and Ethiopia among others.

The platform was founded by Moses Tindyebwa, Bwengye Brian, Arnold Bigirwa and Alice Kigaane, all of whom are Ugandans by descent.[related-posts]
