Huawei Uganda Launches it’s Lightning ‘Y6 II’ Fast Smartphone

Huawei Consumer Business Group, Uganda on Tuesday released it’s newest flagship to their Y-Series entrant, the Huawei Y6 II, boasting as the only smartphone at the moment with unbeatable cut throat lightning speed in Uganda.

The smartphone sports a Kirin 620 1.2GHz processor coupled with the lightining fast 64-bit octa-core which allows apps to be open simultaneously without sacrificing speed, power or performance. It’s ARM micro-processor technology has ultra-high efficiency for a longer battery life.

The Huawei Y6 II aslo comes with a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory with an expandable microSD slot of up to 128GB, giving users more capacity, lower power consumption, faster speed and longer. Early this week, our expectations for the microSD slot expansion was 64GB, but, looks like it was doubled.

Jean Baguma; Marketing Manager at Huawei Uganda, at press confrence held at their Head Offices said today’s smartphones are a part of people’s everday lives and that their performance in turn affects their delivery during phone calls, messaging, or even when taking pictures.

“To this end, Huawei Uganda has released the Huawei Y6 II in Uganda, becoming the first member of the Y-Series smartphone collection to feature a Kirin High Silicon chipset and 620 Processor which offers smoother performance and ultra-high efficiency,” Jean said.

Sam Ayo; the Device Manager at Huawei Uganda, commented on the 5.5-inch display smartphone, briefing the press on the specs of the phone.

Sam pointed out a few specs including; the 13MP and 8MP rear and front cameras respectively, 1280×720 resolution display, EMUI 4.1 operating system, and a durable GFF transparent lamination which protects the display from scratches and the customized round curves designed for easy one handed use.

He also didn’t leave out the built-in phone manager which monitors power consumption for extended battery life, cleans, and optimizes the phones operating system, while the App Lock and Do Not Disturb function protects user privacy.

Marketing Manager; Jean Baguma, explained, that the Huawei Y6 II is targeted to the mid-range smartphone users and is available at 655,600 UGX across all Huawei affiliate delars shops country-wide, including; Nile Communications, Ssimba Telecom, Go Phones, Fone Express, Praise Communications and Kilimall.
